Mi-Casa Asset Management Inc. was established in February 2005 as the asset manager for Japan Rental Housing Investments Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Securities Code: 8986, hereafter referred to as “JRH”). We have since been moving forward with a variety of measures to enhance the corporate value of JRH as well as achieve sustained growth.
In July 2010 JRH merged with Prospect Reit Investment Corporation, with JRH as the surviving entity. With this, it enhanced its asset size as a specialized residential property REIT with investments in rental condominiums across major cities of Japan with a focus on the greater Tokyo area and the 23 core wards of Tokyo. We have since focused our efforts on the maintenance and improvement of occupancy rates, acquisition of new properties, improvement of portfolio quality by enhancing the value of existing properties or the sale of some such properties, and a host of cost-cutting initiatives.
Going forward, we as a company are resolved to do our utmost to realize stable distribution of profits to unitholders over the medium to long term with our renewed commitment to providing superior asset management and services securing high customer satisfaction, based on the solid foundation of trust we have established with all of our business partners.

“Mi Casa” means “my house” in Spanish. It was named with our sincere hope that “my house” would provide warmth and comfort as well as facilitate frank dialogues. We will continue working to promote honest communication with our investors and make Mi-Casa's operations transparent to them. All of us at Mi-Casa are also committed to contributing to greater society by providing residents with the warmth and comfort of one’s own home through efforts to improve the management and operations of our portfolio properties.
We appreciate your continued support.
