Privacy Policy

Mi-Casa Asset Management is deeply aware of the importance of personal information and shall strive for the appropriate handling and protection of personal information through compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws and ordinances (hereafter, "Related Laws"), guidelines established by the competent government agency (hereafter, “Related Laws, etc.” in conjunction with the Related Laws) as well as internal rules established to protect personal information.

1, Personal information shall be acquired through legal and fair means up to the extent necessary for achieving the use objectives described in 2.
2, Personal information shall only be used in circumstances that are legally allowed and for the following use objectives.
A To appropriately conduct operations related to the acquisition and sale of the assets of Japan Rental Housing Investments Inc. (hereafter, the "Investment Corporation")
B To appropriately conduct the management of rent and other revenue concerning properties owned by the Investment Corporation and the management of other assets of the Investment Corporation
C To fulfill duties related to the provision of information to investors in the Investment Corporation and duties that are incurred by the Investment Corporation regarding investors
D To smoothly conduct operations concerning the raising of capital, the issuance of Investment Corporation bonds and additional issuance of investment units for the Investment Corporation
E To conduct various research and analysis concerning asset management and rental operations for the Investment Corporation
F To prepare various reports for the Investment Corporation based on the Investment Trust and Investment Corporation Law, the Corporate Law and other related laws and ordinances, and to manage information on investors of the Investment Corporation
G To conduct operations incidental to, or related to, the above A. to F.
3, The following shall apply to the provision of personal information to a third party.
A Personal information shall not be disclosed or provided to a third party unless the circumstances fall under one of the following.
1: The concerned individual agrees to the disclosure
2: When it is in accordance with laws and ordinances
3: When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body or assets of an individual and obtaining approval from said individual is problematic
4: When it is particularly necessary to improve public sanitation and to promote the healthy nurturing of children and obtaining approval from said individual is problematic
5: (5) When it is essential for cooperation with the execution of administrative matters designated in laws and ordinances conducted by agencies of national, regional and local government bodies and parties entrusted by such, and there is the potential that obtaining the approval of said individual will hinder the execution of said administrative affairs
B Mi-Casa Asset Management may provide personal information to a third party in cases other than the preceding Item’s standards. Further, this provision shall be terminated if the concerned individual of such information so desires. The individual should contact the Personal Information Contact indicated below when so desiring.
Third parties to which Mi-Casa will provide personal information: The Investment Corporation, counterparties or potential counterparties of contracts for real estate and other transactions, building lot and building brokers, financial institutions/non-life insurance companies/lawyers/judicial scriveners/real estate appraisers, etc. who engage in incidental operations to real estate transactions, etc., managers of the list of Unitholders, etc. and other related parties
Categories of personal information provided: Address, name, rent amount, contract period and other items entered on the rent roll (list of rent conditions)
Measures or methods of provision: Via printed media, electronic media, etc.
4, Mi-Casa Asset Management shall appropriately and carefully manage the personal information it obtains and shall construct safety and security measures to prevent illegal access to personal information and the loss, damage, alteration, leakage or such of personal information. Mi-Casa Asset Management may also entrust all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary for achieving the objectives of use. In such cases, Mi-Casa Asset Management will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the concerned entrusted party.
5, Mi-Casa Asset Management will endeavor to manage personal information for the purpose of maintaining accurate and up-to-date content. In addition, the disclosure of personal data in the possession of Mi-Casa Asset Management shall be conducted according to the prescribed procedure of Mi-Casa. Mi-Casa Asset Management shall promptly correct or delete the concerned information when the disclosure reveals that the content of the information is inaccurate or mistaken.
